{"id":1515,"date":"2026-08-12T19:44:08","date_gmt":"2026-08-12T17:44:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/backgammon.rs\/?page_id=1515"},"modified":"2026-09-12T10:21:23","modified_gmt":"2026-09-12T08:21:23","slug":"pravilnik-o-organizaciji-turnira","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/backgammon.rs\/en\/pravilnik-o-organizaciji-turnira\/","title":{"rendered":"Tournament Regulations"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An official tournament that awards points within the championship framework must be approved by the Federation, along with its schedule, to ensure harmony with other tournaments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The date, location, format, schedule of the tournament, as well as the prize pool distribution prize method, must be announced clearly and in a timely manner. The Organizer reserves the right to change any of these factors prior to the start of the tournament in case of an emergency. Changes after the tournament has started are not permitted, except in cases of force majeure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Organizer is under no obligation to provide accommodation and transport for the players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Organizer is obligated to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Provide the venue and equipment for the tournament:<\/strong> Boards, checkers, dice, scoreboards, and clocks, using either the Federation&#8217;s equipment, their own equipment, or by requesting players to bring their own equipment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Borrow and return the Federation&#8217;s equipment.<\/strong> Any missing or damaged Federation equipment must be compensated for in accordance with the Regulations within 15 days after the tournament at the latest, or before the start of the next tournament.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Appoint a Tournament Director<\/strong> who is responsible for conducting the tournament.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Tournament Director is obligated to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Hold a referee accreditation<\/strong> issued by the Federation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Appoint a three-member tournament committee<\/strong> consisting of prominent and experienced players, which makes the final decision if the Director&#8217;s initial ruling is not accepted by the players in dispute.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Provide a copy of the tournament rules \/ rules of play<\/strong> at the tournament desk (English + Serbian).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ensure compliance<\/strong> with other regulations of the Federation and the Organizer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Be available to the players at all times<\/strong> during the tournament, and in case of absence, delegate and announce a deputy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Enforce the tournament schedule.<\/strong> All decisions and deviations from the planned schedule that affect the duration of the tournament must be clearly communicated to the players.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Monitor and ensure<\/strong> the proper use of clocks and equipment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Impose disciplinary measures<\/strong> in case of infractions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Distribute the prize pool<\/strong> according to the announced distribution method.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">In Belgrade,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">12.8.2026.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><span class=\"fontstyle0\">President of Backgammon Federation of Serbia<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><span class=\"fontstyle0\">Milo\u0161 Miki\u0107<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An official tournament that awards points within the championship framework must be approved by the Federation, along with its schedule, to ensure harmony with other tournaments.
